Bulk Image Downloader will save you from the tedious task of downloading each and every image from a given website one by one. The program captures all the image files on a page and shows them to you in a convenient and efficient manner. You can then select all of those or a particular set of images and let the program do the hard work for you.

Specifically designed to help you save large amounts of images to disc in one single operation, it is a perfect fit for working with image hosting sites such as Flickr, ImageShack, ImageVenue, ImageFap - to name a few, - but it is also a great tool for getting all the photos Google Images page has to offer, for instance.

The whole process is very simple. In order to select the images from a given webpage, you have two options – you can either make use of the interface added to your context menu or open the program’s main interface and work directly from there. Bulk Image Downloader adds an “Open current page with BID” option to your context menu, which you can use while browsing the Web to send a site address to the program’s main interface. Alternatively, you can open the latter and paste the corresponding URL into the box provided. The result is the same – the program analyzes the webpage, extracts all the images from it, and shows them to you as thumbnails, so that you can browse through them easily and select the images you wish to keep. Once you have made your choice, let the program do the hard work for you – the images will be saved in their full size to the destination folder of your choice.

The program offers you a nice and simple utility to export a selected gallery as HTML code. You can use this code to embed it into your own site, complete with a BID download link.

Bulk Image Downloader is a very useful and well-designed tool that will save you from wasting your time doing repetitive and tedious task of saving hundreds of images to disc one by one.

Robert Pacl I have really tried for 2 weeks to understand the quirks in this app. There are some sites where it works very well. There are other sites, too many, where the operation is very flakey, or abortive. I have repeatedly been told that it downloaded xx files and go to the folder to find almost anything - thumbnails, banners, all kinds of garbage in addition to, usually but not always, .jpegs that I selected. I just finished a round where I got none that I selected even though the pix were listed as downloaded. I have Win 7, 64-bit, just reinstalled in an attempt to get some of my other flakey apps to settle down, but either BID is incompatible or it's a beta version. I'm thinking of making XP a 2nd OS so I can use Reget Pro which has been a trusted app for years, but not with MS new carp OS, like many other apps which I have depended on for a long time. Collomb updated "Unlocker" to help me defend against those Redmond morons.
